We are delighted to be bringing on board an Academic Partner to work with us on our Violence Reduction Academy Programme.
Our Academic Partner will take a lead role in supporting the VR Academy to identify key research and emerging evidence-based practice, translating the evidence into clear and easily accessible information for health and care professionals. This will involve working with key stakeholders to identify gaps and recommendations for further research.
The VR Academy looks forward to launching with the below:
- An interactive website that will allow access to VRA-endorsed resources and provide a platform to collaborate through sharing learning and expertise
- The growth and promotion of a national network of Academy stakeholders comprising of both clinical and non-clinical members interested in the health implications of violence
- The understanding of both health-related data and relevant non-health metrics; exploring how this can contribute to the evidence base
- VR Academy hosted events that support the health and care social movement around violence reduction, including webinars and workshops.
